The German automaker Bosch has introduced the Internet of Things (IoT) based garage in Bengaluru on Wednesday. This will give engineers from India to have the first-hand experience of advanced IoT environment. Bosch issued a statement in which it explained how the dedicated lab will complement IoT competency in firms wanting to offer connected solutions and facilitate addressing real-world problems in our role as a system integrator.
This is the first IoT enabled garage in India that will collaborate with enterprises and bring digital transformation through building connected products. The new hub also roped in Nasscom and top universities from India to make sure the skill set is in place for connected products and solutions.
The aim is to put building blocks in place for development
The garage situated in Electronic City the southern part of Bengaluru will provide a wide range of IoT application abilities. Vijay Ratnaparkhe, Bosch Engineering, and Business Solutions Managing Director said, “The lab will focus on building technology demonstrators and validating them before they take shape into scalable solutions for smart connected products.”
IoT solutions with the use of sensors, software, and other services bring digital transformation that will enable the growth in the right direction. Raghuram Joshi, General Manager of Bosch explained that IoT garage will give them the momentum to speed up the abilities to take on the digital front.
With this garage, Bosch will help enterprises to be ready for future technologically by combining the services of IT and IoT. Sanjeev Malhotra, Chief Executive of Nasscom said, “There is no cookie-cutter solution that fits all. Each company and industry use-case will need a customized approach, wherein lies both the challenge and opportunity addressed by the IoT garage.”
