Airtel partners with Cisco to offer advanced connectivity solutions for enterprises

Producing the latest digitization technology for enhanced growth of businesses

Telecom giant Bharti Airtel has announced that it has collaborated with Network gear maker Cisco to jointly offer advanced networking and connectivity solutions to telecom enterprises and small and medium enterprises in India. In the present day situation, there is a requirement for next-generation connectivity solutions since India is the fastest growing economy in the world.  In a situation where businesses are switching over to digitization for enhanced agility and growth, this partnership will capitalize on Airtel’s relationship with customers and its network to produce the latest digitization technology in the Indian market.

Providing services for better data optimization

As per the deal, Airtel will be providing Managed Software-Defined Wide Area Network services in partnership with Cisco. Airtel’s managed SD-WAN services which will be built on the Cisco-Viptela platform will offer real-time analytics and in-built security. Along with that, the platform will include a management controller which will give customers a clear understanding of how data flows across their networks as well as empower them to optimize their data traffic in order to adapt to the requirements of their business.

Minimizing cost and migration issues through a centralized platform

In addition to the management controller, the solution will provide a centralized platform which will be beneficial for the businesses as the platform will minimize their capital expenditure and reduce the various problems faced by businesses while their data and applications while they are shifted to the Cloud.

Cisco Webex services fulfill collaboration requirements of clients

Enterprises will also be provided with the Cisco Webex service which would be the single solution for their conferencing and collaboration requirements. The Webex platform empowers customers to effortlessly connect with their clients, customers, and employees through multiple audio and video platforms and devices.

Cisco’s previous collaborations with telecom providers

Earlier Cisco had collaborated with two telecom providers to enable an enhanced experience for its retail and enterprise customers. Cisco had previously collaborated with Bharti  Airtel in order to enhance the user experience by building India’s largest 5G ready, IP based, fully automated network. Also, it had partnered with Vodafone Idea Limited to deploy the largest integrated cloud network for IT and network applications.
