Follow Us:

India has been fighting the deadly coronavirus pandemic for quite some time now. India has not only launched the world’s biggest vaccination campaign but has also initiated the production of affordable and easy-to-handle vaccines. Moreover, the demand has been pouring from Latin America, Africa, Asia, and some east European countries.

India is known as the largest vaccine manufacturer in the world. Also, the country would use its “vaccine production and delivery capacity to help all humanity in fighting the coronavirus crisis.”

Exporting the coronavirus vaccines to nearby countries

India is expected to export the first batch of vaccines to Brazil. Catering to the needs of the neighboring countries— Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, India will be helping them with the vaccines on a priority basis.

India has been working beneficially to use its capacities to help humankind fight the distressing disease. China has very admiringly brought this virus under control. China had developed a vaccine as well but there had been speculations over the safety and efficacy of the same.

Locally-made vaccines to the rescue

India began its immunization drive with two locally-made vaccines. Moreover, the vaccines such as Sputnik V that is being developed with Russian assistance are expected to be rolled out shortly. These vaccines will be exported to fight back the dreaded coronavirus pandemic both in India and other countries.

The vaccination campaign has to be carried out worldwide in order to defeat the horrifying coronavirus. The additional advantage of using the Indian vaccines—these vaccines will be available at a much cheaper price as compared to the imported vaccines made by Pfizer, BioNtech, and Moderna. The distribution of Indian vaccines will be much easier as the storage is not much of an issue. They can be stored in ordinary refrigerators at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius. Unlike the storage requirements of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines as they need to be kept at -20 to -70 degrees Celsius in expensive deep-freeze chains.
