Microsoft’s work management and chat app Kaizala to increase Indian users

American multinational technology giant, Microsoft is currently eyeing the Indian enterprise sector to amplify its growth with Kaizala app.

Kaizala has basically worked management and chats app introduced in July 2017. It has been synchronized with Microsoft’s desktop product Office365 to create coordination in an institution. It has been reported that a large number of companies are moving their infrastructure to the cloud to improvise balance between company officials and first-line workers.

An executive vice president at Microsoft, Rajesh Jha commented that the modern workforce is about first-line workers and they are now connected through mobile and we are making sure how does Office(365) help them connect back to the core business operations. Kaizala is about enabling business processes to happen in a very familiar chat interface.
Microsoft is also working to increase the utility of artificial intelligence and enhancing data security in India.

Currently, 30 departments of Andra Pradesh are using the Kaizala app, including Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s office. The company reported that around 30000-40000 feedback is received through this app weekly which is forwarded for further analysis.

Jha also said, “(For) countries like India, which are not only mobile-first but mobile-only; what does productivity mean, how do they connect with the business processes. So we have worked very closely with some customers and created a solution to sync Kaizala with Office365 to make it more relevant and modernize our customers’ workplace.”

The IT mogul is planning to set up three data centers in India, which would provide data security and storage for its consumers.
