World’s first AC helmet launched
The world’s first AC safety helmet, created by Hyderabad-based technology and safety start-up Jarsh Safety, was unveiled at the India pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai during Telangana week, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).
On November 10, Dubai-based NIA Limited, in collaboration with Jarsh Safety, released the AC Helmet, which uses proprietary solid-state cooling technology to offer cooling up to 24℃.
The Jarsh-NIA AC Helmet will be a game-changer for construction and outdoor workers in general, especially in locations that are notoriously hot in the summer.
AC helmets, according to Kausthub Kaundinya, CEO of Jarsh Safety, increase productivity while also protecting the safety and comfort of its users. These helmets include a rechargeable battery pack that is pre-installed.

Invention Story
After suffering difficulty when using safety helmets, Kausthub Kaundinya, Sreekanth Kommula, and Anand Kumar created a prototype of the Jarsh AC Helmet in 2016.
They launched a start-up manufacturing firm and swiftly grew helmet production after seeing its potential to improve the lives of individuals at the bottom of the labor force.
“We started our journey from a garage office and, over the years, brought smiles to thousands of workers across India. Jarsh Safety is now going global,” said Kausthub. “We strongly believe that the joint NIA-Jarsh mission can help alleviate the working conditions of the workforce across the world,” he said.
The four variants
Model C is intended for machine operators. It improves operator efficiency and may be connected directly to the machine’s low-voltage power supply for unlimited usage.
Model S is for experienced technicians. It boosts workplace productivity, and the battery pack provides 10 hours of comfort on a single charge.
Model E is intended for managers, architects, and executives. It is intended for comfortable field trips, and the battery pack provides two hours of comfort on a single charge.
Model W is suited for operators of welding equipment. Model W provides greater eye, face, and neck protection. On a single charge, its battery pack provides 2 hours of relaxation.
The AC Safety Helmet is now available in the UAE and throughout the region through NIA Limited’s unrivaled distribution network. It is powered by a rechargeable battery that does not need to be charged.
