ThunderSoft, a leading provider of operating system technologies, has announced a collaboration with Didi Chuxing (DiDi), the world’s leading mobile transportation platform. The companies aim to jointly bring superior intelligent automotive operating system products and solutions for automotive manufacturers and Tier1 suppliers. The development of Intelligent Controlled Vehicle (ICV) will be largely accelerated by this partnership as it is supported by ThunderSoft’s OS technology and DiDi’s AI technology.
A strong strategic partnership in the field of intelligent vehicles will be built by ThunderSoft and DiDi. Both the companies will leverage their technological advantages in intelligent automotive operating system, advanced driver assistance system, smart assistants, safe driving monitoring system, and autonomous driving to jointly develop products and solutions.
Creating Next-Generation Smart Vehicle Products
DiDi is a leading mobile transportation platform that uses AI, cloud computing, big data, and other technology. 550 million users and over 10 billion passenger trips a year are benefitted with the company’s full range of app-based transportation services. In the new era of intelligent transportation, DiDi has developed a new technological strategy, ‘AI for transportation.’ It has also opened accumulated AI technology, diversified solutions, and service computing power to the public through smart transportation open platform.
On the other hand, ThunderSoft laid out a new generation automotive business, focusing on creating intelligent vehicle operating systems and smart cockpit platform products in 2013. Complete software solutions and services are provided by ThunderSoft which can support OS development, core technology authorization, and application customization including an in-vehicle infotainment system, smart dashboard, integrated cockpits, ADAS and audio products.
