Helping The Consumer Product Companies
A renowned professional services firm, Accenture, recently introduced the latest generation of its NewsPage platform for the Asia Pacific. The platform is known as integrated distributor management and sales automation system. Consumer products companies will be able to manage traditional trade channels, promotions, and sales processes better with the help of this platform. The SAP cloud platform and SAP Hana service have been used in the building of the fresh edition, NewsPage 9.
“A single source of customer data will be created by Accenture NewsPage 9, along with machine learning and microservices that power real-time sales execution,” said Accenture’s Fabio Vacirca. He further added, “Our collaboration can better handle consumer product companies to capture new consumption in untapped traditional trade as well as complex, multi-layer supply chains, ultimately gaining revenue and profitability.”
Targeting the APAC Region
The NewsPage 9 has already widened its wings across 60 countries. It has over 160,000 users serving more than 5000 distributors and three million retail outlets. Now it plans to cover Asia as it is the global driver for E-commerce and the most mobile region in the world. Asia still has 25 million under-served retail outlets which represent a huge opportunity for the consumer products companies of the region. NewsPage 9 is targeting companies in fast-growth markets such as ASEAN and China and offers distribution management, sales force automation and merchandising capabilities.
Accenture is taking advantage of the SAP cloud platform and SAP Hana service to build an engagement model. By using the model, solution providers and software vendors can quickly design, develop, integrate and commercialize their applications under a comprehensive partner program. “Accenture is committed to building solutions that help our clients drive greater efficiency and effectiveness through intelligence and integration,” said Accenture’s Fabio Vacirca.
