Promoting Innovation and Futuristic Solutions
Indian automobile industry giant, Maruti Suzuki has recently collaborated with Enmovil, a Hyderabad- based startup. This collaboration comes under Maruti Suzuki’s Mobility and Automobile Innovation Lab (MAIL) program whose aim is to promote innovative and futuristic solutions for automobile and mobility space.
To identify innovatively and cutting edge solutions through start-ups, the MAIL program is initiated by Maruti Suzuki. The solutions are futuristic and customer-oriented. For the budding talent in India, this program provides a platform to showcase their entrepreneurial abilities at the national level. Maruti Suzuki provides an opportunity for startups with innovations in these fields to turn their ideas into reality.
The MAIL Program
By co-creating innovative business solutions in the mobility space, Maruti Suzuki’s MAIL supports the startups. The shortlisted startups undergo an extensive selection exercise involving screening and pitch sessions under MAIL. The startups also receive mentorship from the domestic and international startup ecosystem. Brainstorming sessions with Maruti Suzuki domain teams helped to create a perfect solution.
Providing much Faster Cutting Edge Solutions
Founded in 2015, Enmovil transforms the performance and utilization of field assets into analytics and integrates with the organization’s backend network by offering a consolidated end-to-end platform. “The auto sector is ever-evolving which needs innovation-based solutions for the challenges it faced related to production, engineering, safety, design, logistics, customer experiences, etc. Maruti Suzuki offers a platform for the new-aged start-ups to come up with next-generation ideas and develop solutions for the real problems of the auto sector through MAIL,” said Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director,(marketing and sales) Maruti Suzuki India.
